Big Barn Bonanza!!!

Save the Date!!!

Thank you to the many volunteers who made the 14th Big Barn Bonanza an enormous success. This annual fundraiser benefits Keuka Comfort Care Home – a two bed home in Penn Yan, that provides end-of-life care to area residents.

The Yates County Fairgrounds is a perfect venue for this huge sale. We are grateful to Boy Scout Troop #44 for their assistance setting up the tables for the sale and to the numerous volunteers who accepted, sorted and organized all the items donated. We are especially thankful to this community who donated many wonderful things to make this sale so successful.

We will have the 15th Big Barn Bonanza next May, so start saving your treasures!

Thank you,

Joanne Drewno and the Keuka Comfort Care Home Garage Sale Committee

Enjoy these pictures from last year!.

We are looking for volunteers to help folks unload their donations and then sort and move items to their proper areas, making sure the treasures sparkle and set pricing. The day of the sale, these dedicated volunteers help patrons box up their wares, store them in our holding area, help them get their boxes or furniture to their cars or trucks, and they always do it with a smile!  It’s a lot of hard work, but there is no better group of people to work with!  If you would like to help out  we would love to have you.                  Give us a call at 315-536-1690.

At the end of the sale, we invite other non-profits to come up and take any of our leftovers if they had a use for them. We welcome any non-profits to get in touch with us to let us know you would like to participate  and we will get you on our list.

Save your nice furniture, antiques and collectibles for our sale this year!  If you hear of someone cleaning out parents’, neighbors or estates refer them to us! At this time we DO NOT ACCEPT garage sale leftovers!  If you want to know more about what we are looking for, give us a call at 315-536-1690 and ask for Donna.

The funds from this event help with on-going daily expenses of running Keuka Comfort Care Home, a two-bedroom palliative care home overlooking Keuka Lake. KCCH accepts those who need end of life care at no expense to them, their families or their insurance companies.

Keuka Comfort Care Home sincerely thanks this community and beyond for the generosity you have shown.

Keuka Comfort Care Home has served over 240 residents and their families since they opened. It couldn’t be done without you!

Thanks again to everyone who donated, volunteered and/or came to last years sale and we can’t wait to see you this year and bring a friend!
